2.1 Personal Data

Personal data is information about factual or personal circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your telephone number, your address and all inventory data that you provide us with when creating your customer account.

2.2 Customer Account

To shop with us, you need a customer account. This customer account contains personal data. These are stored in our database for later processing when logging in.

2.3 Collection, processing, and use of your personal data

Data protection is an important concern for us. Therefore, when collecting, processing and using your personal data, we strictly adhere to the legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Act (TKG).

We observe the principle of earmarked use of data and collect, process and store your personal data only for the processing of your purchase, including any later warranties, for our services, technical administration and our own marketing purposes. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing or billing or if you have given your prior consent. As part of the order processing, for example, the service providers we use here (e.g. transporter) receive the necessary data. The data passed on in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfill their task.

For your order we need your correct name, address and payment data. We need your e-mail address so that we can confirm receipt of your order and communicate with you. We also use this for your identification (customer login).

With forms on the website, we request data from you. This data includes information such as first name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address, address. In addition, we ask for your consent to process the information of your request. In order to process your request via the ‘Find a partner’ page, we will send your contact details to the Loxone partner whose data you have requested. This automated process is triggered when the form is filled out.

We also take internal data protection very seriously. Our employees and the service companies commissioned by us (e.g. transport companies,…) have been sworn to secrecy and to compliance with data protection regulations.

2.4 Use of your data for advertising purposes

In addition to processing your data to process your purchase from Loxone, we also use your data to communicate with you about your orders, specific products or marketing campaigns and to recommend products or services that might interest you.

You can object to the use of your personal data for advertising purposes at any time as a whole or for individual measures. A message in text form to the contact details mentioned under point 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient for this.

2.5 Infomail

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to send an info mail, ie we will only send you an info mail by e-mail if you have previously expressly confirmed to us that we should activate the info mail service. We will then send you a notification email and ask you to confirm that you wish to receive our info emails by clicking on a link contained in this email.

If you later no longer wish to receive info mails from us, you can object to this at any time. A message in text form to the contact details mentioned under point 1 (e.g. e-mail, letter) is sufficient for this. Of course, you will also find an unsubscribe link in every info mail.

To make sure that your ‘find a partner’ request via one of our forms has been processed correctly, we will send you a confirmation e-mail after a short time. This will not automatically register you for our newsletter, unless you have requested registration for the newsletter.
